Heel pain has become a common occurrence in recent years. Runners, older people and those with occupations that demand standing for a long duration are most commonly affected. Although heel pain is rarely caused by a serious medical problem, its impact on the quality of life cannot be ignored. The human body develops a lot of reflexes that often go unnoticed. Fear of pain is one such, in which a person unknowingly avoids those body movements.
